Safari Fun

This month we're having so much fun as we go on a safari!

We learned about migration, watering holes and evaporation with this cool science experiment!

Our sensory box is filled with trees, rocks, corn and lots of fun safari animals.

We practiced counting and math equations with grassland elephants!

Parquetry beading cards are great fine motor practice and help develop color and shape patterns

Some of our really fun art projects, including a lion puppet, chalk zebra and digital camera with interchangeable pictures!

Our safari animals migrating to find water.

This fun game promotes taking turns, counting and science concepts.

Even our calendar is all decked out in safari fun.

We created safari huts, complete with sandy walls and a family to call it home.

We worked on number concepts with colored ovals.

We created an African  mural. Here's a flamingo under a rainbow.

We use the look and find glasses to explore all the interesting things in our theme poster.

Our skills checklist for the month. The children are learning so much!

Newsletters keep parents informed of all the fun things we're up to this month!

Our month is broken down in to theme weeks, then further broken down into a specific theme for each day. The children love exploring on a safari at Whole Child Preschool!
