Our Montessori Area

I am so excited to share our new montessori materials with your kids!

On this shelf we have the red and blue numerical rods, counting boxes with spindles, the pink tower, the broad stair, sound boxes and an alphabet wheel, and a movable alphabet activity.

On this shelf we have the red rods, the four knobless cylinder boxes, the secondary color box, a pouring activity, a scooping activity and a lacing activity.

Grace is enjoying the art area!

Just like the rest of Whole Child Preschool, your child will often find new and exciting activities in our montessori area!

Sensory Day

We LOVE a good sensory day!

Today we created a rainbow watercolor painting, complete with a pot of gold coins, made googly eyed play dough friends, and enjoyed playing in a vanilla scented soap fountain. We played in water beads and snow mush, made a rainbow ribbon dance bracelet, and created neon sculptures. We used pipettes to transfer vinegar into little wells of baking soda, made some fun music, danced and played with the parachute.
